Eugene H. Peterson may be best known for his popular contemporary Bible translation "The Message," but his work goes far beyond that monumental project.

Peterson has just released the fifth book in his "conversation" series, this one focusing on Christian maturity.

In "Practice Resurrection: A Conversation in Growing Up in Christ" (Eerdmans, hardcover, 302 pages, $24), Peterson makes a point that, for Christians, growth in Christ should be equally as important as bringing new people to faith in Jesus through evangelism.
